How long does a campaign last?

Each campaign has a limited duration; usually a campaign runs for 3 to 8 days. Remember that the principle of our work is “first come, first served”, so hurry up and visit the website immediately after the start of the campaign.

What is campaign?

A campaign is a collection of clothing, shoes or accessories that are available for sale for a period of 3 to 8 days. In most cases, one campaign presents a brand or a designer, and at times combines multiple brands or products of several designers.


How many items of one product can I buy?

There is no limit to the number of products you can purchase per campaign, however we have a limit of 3 items of the same item you are allowed to buy.

If the product is sold out, will you be selling it again?

The number of products that we order from our suppliers is limited. The faster you place an order when the campaign is launched, the better your chances of securing an order on products of your interested in.

Can I order from outside SA?

Yes, you can order from anywhere in the world where you have an Internet connection, however orders can ONLY be shipped/delivered within South Africa.

How do I cancel my order?

Once the order has been processed and shipped it cannot be canceled. If a customer wants to cancel an order they should contact our customer service at 031 535 7131 as soon as possible.

Can I order product by phone?

No, you can only purchase products online in our e-shop at http://www.makoyabrands.co.za


Who is responsible for cost of returning the goods?

~If total cost of goods purchased is more than R2500, Makoya Brands is responsible for     the cost of returning goods. Makoya Brands will send a courier to pick up the goods from the address we delivered them to.


~If total cost of goods purchased is less than R2500, the customer is responsible for the cost of transport of returning the goods to us.


How do I receive my money back?

If you made payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) or by Credit card, we will refund your money into the bank account used for the purchase. You also have an option of a voucher which is valid for use on our eShop www.makoyabrands.co.za, we would credit your customer account on our eShop for the returned goods within 14working days after physical receipt of goods.

What is the product warranty?

To get the money refunded, make sure you send the parcel to our address not later than 10 days from the date of delivery. Otherwise we will be forced to not consider your returned goods.

Can I return the product in person?

Yes, you can return the products in person. But please be aware we only refund your money within 14 working days from the day we receive returned goods. We refund your money in a form of vouches (which can only be used in our website for your next purchase) or payment will be made into the bank account used when the purchase was made.

Can I return product that I ordered?

Goods can without penalty be returned. The products should still be in the condition in which it was adopted (in original packaging with all labels intact and accompanying documents), within 10 days of receipt of goods.

Payment and deliveries

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes, we deliver to any country in the world. We will inform you after we receive your order the cost of delivery of your product to your preferred address into your country

What happens if I’m not at home on the day of delivery?

We recommend that you place a delivery address where we will be able to reach you. Enter your work physical address if you are not usually at home during working hours. In the event that the address of your choice, you are not reachable when the shipment arrives, you will receive notice of attempted delivery of a package. The notice will contain the stack number and phone number where you can reach person/courier to find out details about the shipment and possibly agree on a new delivery date.

Can I choose when will my order be delivered

Sending a package does not depend only on us, so we cannot guarantee that the package will arrive on a particular day or time. Also, our couriers are working diligently on the shipment sent out to all members as soon as possible, and we cannot predict the exact time of delivery. Our courier will give a phone call in advance to confirm your availability at your delivery address.

Delivery price vary by delivery location and the number of items purchased. The price of transport is calculated and displayed in the shopping cart before completing your order.

How are the products delivered?

Goods are delivered by courier service to the address of your choice.

How do I stop getting campaign notices by email?

Simply click the unsubscribe link on the email or alternatively contact us on cs@makoyabrands.co.za and leave your name and email address the campaign emails are being sent to.

How can I change my personal details?

You can change your details in our website under ‘My Account’ tab. You can update the name, surname, e-mail address and password.

Are you an authorised distributor of these brands?

No, Makoya Brands is not an authorized distributor of these brands in South Africa. The goods are original and have been Imported into South Africa without authority from  local distributor, warranties provided by authorized distributor may not be applicable. Makoya Brands offers ONLY authentic goods.

How does a sale works? A step-by-step explanation

Step 1: Open the www.makoyabrands.co.za home page

Step 2: Products on sale will then be shown as a catalogue, along with detailed descriptions;  select the items you want to order and put them in your shopping cart by clicking in the shopping cart icon.

Step 3: Log-in or choose the ‘I just want to buy (without registration)’ option.

Step 4: Choose a delivery and a payment method.

Step 5: Carefully check the content of your order, as well as the billing and delivery address before confirming your order.

Step 6: As soon as your payment has been confirmed, you will receive a confirmation by e-mail.

Can I still buy products from Makoyabrands.co.za without being a registered member?

Yes,however if you are not a registered member you can only make payments for your order by Credit card and instant EFT before your order can be processed.

How do I become a member?

It is quick and free-of-charge to register on Makoyabrands.co.za. You are under no obligation to purchase any products.Just follow the steps below to register;

Step 2: Click on the “Register” tab. A quick-registration form will come up.

Step 3: Fill in the short form, specifying: your full name, your e-mail address and the password you want to use (minimum of 6 characters). Once you have entered this information, click on ‘Sign up’.
