Before using this website please read these terms and conditions which govern your access to this website, its use and any legal relations between Makoya Brands and you the customer.


 1. Customer

A customer is referred to as someone who makes a purchase from Makoya Brands online outlet. A customer has a choice of becoming a member of Makoya Brands by creating an account (to be able to take advantage of member benefits) or a customer can purchase goods without being a member.


2.  Makoya Brands

Makoya Brands is an online fashion shop dedicated to bringing our customers authentic branded fashion goods at discounted prices. Prices of goods can be discounted up to 80% off retail price.


3. Goods (Products)

The goods offered in Makoya Brandsare only available during the period of the private sale and as a function of the available stock.The characteristics of items are established on the basis of indications provided by the suppliers. Makoya Brands therefore provides them solely for the sake of information, and Makoya Brands can in no way be held liable. The photos of items shown on our online shop are made in agreement with the suppliers of the products shown.


4. Price

Prices of all goods are indicated in South African Rands and they include V.A.T.The Customer shall also be responsible for paying shipping charges, these charges will indicated on the order form in the shopping cart.


5. Payment

We offer a number of different payment methods for the purchases made on www.makoyabrands.co.za. Accepted payments methods are;


  • Credit card: Visa, Mastercard, American Express
  • Debit card: Visa Electron and Maestro
  • Paypal
  • Manual EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer/Bank transfer or deposit)
  • Cash (applicable to pick up in person only)


6. Delivery and Self-pick up

Delivery of the purchased goods is done via established courier company to the address that the Customer enters on during the purchasing process. Cost of shipment is listed in the “shopping cart” and is to be approved by Costumer when confirming the order. Makoya Brands shall do everything possible to have the merchandise delivered within a period of  2-8 days, unless specified otherwise in the order.


Self-Pick up address and time is specified by www.makoyabrands.co.zain the purchase confirmation email.


7. Defects and return of goods

If the merchandise delivered to the customer has a defect that has not been caused by the customer the Makoya Brands is obliged to accept back the merchandise and reimburse the costumer their money.

Customer nevertheless needs to notify Makoya Brands by phone at 031 535 7131 or by e-mail cs@makoyabrands.co.za within 24hrs of receipt of goods and return the item in its original.

9. Changes to our Terms and conditions

Makoya Brands reserves the right to modify any part of our Terms and conditions at any time. Any changes made will be updated on our site. Please regularly familiarize yourself with our Terms and conditions.


10. Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa and the declaration of any clause or part of any clause herein as invalid shall not affect the validity of the remainder thereof.
